Program of Study: Regional Development Planning and Management
“Bangladesh, owing to its majestic rivers and coastlines, lush forests and mangroves, is one of the unique landscapes in South Asia.
However, in recent years, the ever-increasing developmental activities is rapidly changing the physical and economic landscapes of the country; taking its toll on our environment and natural resources.
Being an architect, an advocate of development alternatives; I felt the responsibility to work for the sustainable development in different landscapes of Bangladesh. My continuing Academic attachment to TU Dortmund (MSc. in Spatial Planning for Regions in Growing Economies), Professional affiliation with GHORAMI.JON (Grassroots Architects, Bangladesh) advocates for my deeper intentions.
The Global Landscapes Forum, could be the perfect platform to facilitate working with different stakeholders for this major agenda, the Sustainable Development and Betterment of the World.
I wish to find a possibility to empower myself with strong knowledge base, necessary to perform as a key actor of change.”
