The Land Rights Standard is a set of best practice principles for recognizing and respecting the land and resource rights of Indigenous Peoples, local communities and Afro-Descendant Peoples in landscape restoration and management, conservation, climate action, and development projects and programs.<\/b><\/p>

In 2019, a group of organizations came together to create a \u2018standard\u2019 to guide how Indigenous, Afro-descendant and local community rights should be included in legislation, investment and global development. The Land Rights Standard was developed through an Indigenous-led process involving consultations with groups and communities around the world and launched at the <\/span>GLF Climate 2022 Hybrid Conference: Frontiers of Change<\/span><\/a>.<\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t
