Power-couple Perrine and Charles Herve-Gruyer, described as France’s Permaculture Ambassadors, own “Le Ferme du Bec Hellouin” – a permaculture/micro-farm situated in Eure Normandy renowned for its vegetable and fruit productivity and revenue on a relatively small patch of land that also protects nature and creates biodiversity. For their work, the couple were recently awarded a sustainable development prize in Haute Normandie and their farm is nationally and internationally recognised as a reference for holistic farming. At GLF Bonn 2020, award-winning journalist Natasha Elkington spoke with Perrine Herve-Gruyer on their reinvented lifestyle and the significant viabilities of cultivating with conscience.
