Environmental benefits
Bamboo can easily grow across the country and can protect against soil erosion. Since bamboo is considered to be grass we are looking to replace charcoal which is made from trees with bamboo charcoal. This will help the country’s green economy policy and help to preserve the ecosystem.
Community benefits
It creates job opportunities for more than 200 youths and will create a market for bamboo farmers that are living in Oromiya, Sidama, and Amhara Region.
Business model
We plan to sell our product both to the local market and international markets. we have already established business relations with distributors in Addis Ababa and Dubai.
