What is the UN Decade on Ecosystem Restoration?
We have less than 12 years to prevent a climate catastrophe and accomplish the SDGs which together could put the world onto a sustainable path for everyone. The UN Decade on Ecosystem Restoration 2021-2030 is designed as the global movement that can achieve this mission in the short timeframe by harnessing the power of nature and local communities.

A global consultation in the runup to the official launch of The UN Decade on Ecosystem Restoration on World Environment Day. The objective of this critical first meeting is to raise awareness, define the land and seascapes the world needs to restore to a sustainable state, and launch a global movement.
