Led by CIFOR with core partners including UNEP, the World Bank, and the Government of Germany, the GLF is scaling up to significantly contribute towards the sustainable and low-emission development aspirations of Agenda 2030, the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and the Paris Agreement.
We are proud to have 33 of the world’s leading development, environmental, farmer, rights and research organizations serving as GLF Charter Members. Core funding for GLF has been provided by the Government of Germany.
Charter Members have signed the GLF Charter and share a strong commitment to the vision of advancing, mainstreaming and implementing the ‘Landscape Approach’ to building landscapes that are productive, prosperous, equitable and resilient. Members do this through their own activities and plans, and by contributing to and supporting the GLF.
Besides a formal partnership, there are many other ways to partner with, participate in and contribute to the GLF, thereby helping to co-create our vision of sustainable landscapes. These include event sponsorship and participation, and contributing financially or in-kind to one of our flagship programs, which include Landscape News; GLF Live; the GLF Youth-led program Youth in Landscapes (YIL); the Landscape Academy; the Communities of Practice; and GLFx – our on-the-ground network for action in landscapes.
