In this talk, Laura and Tashka Yawanawá, Indigenous Leaders of Yawanawá people in Acre, Brazil, share their experience in creating sustainable business models that preserve land, protect forests, and support livelihood of the local communities, and call for investors to rethink the investment flow in Indigenous Peoples’ nature-based projects.

“We see so many announcements by the governments and companies, directing the money to preserve nature, but this money never reaches the final destination – the Indigenous Peoples who are at the front of the crisis,” says Tashka.
