GLF AFRICA 2026: STEWARDING OUR RANGELANDS

6–7 May 2026

HYBRID CONFERENCE | CIFOR-ICRAF Campus, Nairobi, Kenya and Online

Globally, rangelands support 60% of food production and cover 54% of the Earth’s surface. Yet, half of the world’s rangelands are under threat from the climate crisis, conflict, mismanagement and underinvestment.

To mark the the International Year of Rangelands and Pastoralists, GLF Africa 2026 will explore solutions to tackle the multiple threats facing these landscapes. Join this event and help bring rangelands into the spotlight at a critical moment for global decision-making.
