In 2025, major global platforms such as the IUCN World Conservation Congress and the Global Landscapes Forum generated powerful momentum around ecosystem restoration, climate action, biodiversity, and sustainable land use.

This event brought together 34 leading international organizations, local actors and media working on climate, biodiversity and land degradation in Bonn with the aim of fostering strategic alignment, strengthening collaboration, and leveraging Bonn’s role as an environmental hub in this decisive year for global climate and biodiversity action.
