The food, climate and biodiversity ‘triple challenge’ and One Health landscapes

By 2050, the population is set to reach 10 billion. Providing adequate food and nutrition for this number – while delivering on our commitments to biodiversity and climate – will undoubtedly be the defining challenge of our time.

Building on the talks that took place at GLF Bonn 2020, this session advances thinking on the food-climate-biodiversity triple challenge further, honing in on its implications for the world at large with a case study from the Greater Virunga Landscape.
