Agroecology is helping farmers manage fall armyworm

Agroecological approaches are nature-based control methods that promote cultivation of healthy plants, biodiversity of the agricultural environment, and what cultural responses to use when these fail.

This video explains how the harnessing of natural processes and minimizing reliance on synthetic chemical pesticides promotes beneficial organisms, such as natural enemies, helping farmers manage fall armyworm infestations while preserving the environment and supporting sustainable farming. This informational video is produced with the support of the Norwegian Agency for Development Cooperation (Norad).
