GLFx Uyo Chapter advocates for the adoption of Jackfruit Plantation in Akwa Ibom, Nigeria.

On Thursday, October 12th, the GLFx Uyo chapter held its first jackfruit fair, which mobilized rural women in the state to embrace jackfruit cultivation, develop its value-chain, and work toward developing a cottage industry for jackfruit products. Following that, a donation of 500 jackfruit seedlings for the project's launch was announced.
