What is GLFx?

Launched in 2020, the GLFx is an opportunity-making network for community-led organizations boosting action for sustainable landscapes from the ground up.

Act locally, impact globally

GLFx chapters represent local leadership that forges connections, accelerates action, promotes inclusivity and expands knowledge sharing to achieve lasting impact. From planting native trees to implementing regenerative agriculture and facilitating public dialogues, GLFx chapters are at the forefront of change across Africa, Asia, the Pacific, Latin America and the Caribbean.

How it works

GLFx brings together independent local organizations, known as GLFx chapters, and leverages opportunities and partnerships for networking, learning, exposure to the media and global events, and access to seed funding for sustainable landscape management.

"GLFx amplifies our voices and makes our work visible. Connecting with strategic partners and communities globally allows our local work to further transform the world."
Isabel Prestes Da Fonseca, GLFx Zág Xokleng (Brazil)
“GLFx is the place where you meet the people you've always wanted to connect with but who are sometimes difficult to find. At the heart of GLFx is its network.”
Gerald Nkusi, GLFx Virunga (Uganda)
“Joining the GLFx network allows Rumah Relawan Remaja to contribute to global challenges, share its unique perspective, learn from others, and actively shape a more interconnected and harmonious world."
Rahmiana Rahman, GLFx Aceh (Indonesia)
