The vision wall: Dispatches from the future invited participants at GLF Africa 2026 in Nairobi and online around the world to imagine a future where rangelands are thriving and pastoralist communities are leading the way. Through four themes – rangeland governance, pastoralist-led stewardship economy, knowledge from the rangelands and pathways to transformation – contributors explored the policies, institutions, knowledge systems and innovations needed to build resilient landscapes and sustainable livelihoods. Together, these reflections form a collective vision and declaration for the future of the world’s rangelands: Our voices for the earth’s rangelands.
