This session explores the potential of existing scientific evidence, data, metrics, tools, methods and partnerships that CGIAR has generated as leveraging points for the UN Decade on Ecosystem Restoration. Panellists draw on key successes and lessons learned to provide policy and investment recommendations for achieving the vision of the Decade, identify synergies and trade-offs with other development outcomes, and consolidate factors affecting the sustainability of restoration initiatives.
