This high-level session, hosted by the World Bank Group, explores how enabling policies, innovative financing, and digital tools can unlock public and private investment in livable landscapes – supporting smallholders, enterprises, and communities across the continent. From food, water, and energy production to construction materials and biodiversity protection, the discussion examines how landscape restoration can be transformed into tangible jobs, incomes, and long-term economic growth. The session also marks the launch of a new World Bank Group knowledge academy dedicated to landscape knowledge and learning.
