Save the date: On Monday, 28 October, the GLF Together with the Youth in Landscapes Initiative, is hosting its first-ever hackathon that will connect people, to share ideas, learn from each other and act together to creatively problem-solve for on-the-ground sustainable landscape initiatives. We are looking for the most creative solution to engage African youth in landscape restoration.

The challenge: 12 hours to solve the next 12 years

We have less than 12 years to prevent a climate catastrophe and accomplish the U.N. Sustainable Development goals which aim to put the world onto a sustainable path for everyone. Your challenge? Demonstrate the power and potential of nature-based and landscape-based solutions to climate change by designing a creative solution to engage African youth in landscape restoration. Do all of this in just under 12 hours.

Who can participate?

Creative thinkers, designers, developers, activists, researchers. The only limit is time.

Applications will open soon, stay tuned and regularly check the GLF Accra 2019 website.
