As the role and impact of women’s empowerment in agrifood systems takes center stage in 2026, the Regenerative Agriculture Forum will bring together scientists, investors, business leaders, producers and activists to discuss solutions for the future of agriculture
Pecege, Brazil (June 18, 2026) – Women’s empowerment in agrifood systems positively impacts agricultural production and food security. Globally, a similar share of women (36%) and men (38%) work in agrifood systems. Closing the gender gap – for example, by ensuring equal pay, land ownership rights and representation in public policy – could increase global gross domestic product by nearly USD 1 trillion while boosting the incomes and resilience of millions of people.
The transition to a more resilient, inclusive and sustainable agricultural sector will be one of the central themes of the Regenerative Agriculture Forum 2026, taking place on June 23 in Piracicaba, São Paulo, Brazil, and online. It will bring together influential women leaders in agriculture, sustainability, impact finance and global food security.
Organized by the Global Landscapes Forum (GLF), the Sustainable Agriculture Network (SAN), Imaflora and CABI, the forum will explore globally relevant issues of soil regeneration, biodiversity, water security, social inclusion and climate resilience. It will highlight productive models that balance competitiveness, environmental conservation and social development.
With a strong lineup of women speakers, the forum will highlight women’s leadership and their role in transforming food systems. The agenda will bring together voices from different world regions, representing various strategic regenerative agricultural sectors, while resonating with the United Nations’ recognition of 2026 as the International Year of the Woman Farmer (IYWF 2026).
Confirmed speakers include:
- Analí Bustos, Strategic Director for Latin America at Naia Trust, and Co-founder and Executive Director of Fundación Monte Alegre

In addition to panel discussions, the forum will feature workshops, interactive and networking sessions, real-world case presentations and the development of a Radical Collaboration Manifesto, a document intended to guide global action to scale regenerative agriculture in the coming years.
